The topic today is related to the beginning of the fourth season. I think that James Whistler death was not reasonable, since the third season was all about releasing him from the prison. So, why did they kill him in that silly way? Was it better if at least he had a minor role in season 4, rather than rushing his death?

Seasons summaries

Season 1:
The story of this season started when Lincoln Burrows was mistakenly accused for murdering Terrence Steadman who is the brother of the Vice president of the United States. After two months Lincoln will be executed in Fox River State Penitentiary and there is no evidence of his innocence. Michael Scofield, who is Lincoln’s brother, decided to enter the prison purposely in order to save his brother before the death sentence after two months.

At first Michael and his cell mate Sucre started to implement Michael’s plan to rescue Lincoln. Unfortunately, Michael had to let Abruzzi who is one of the prisoners to escape with them, since he is able to arrange a plane after they escape. However, things did not go as planned where other prisoners interfered with operation and forced themselves with Michael’s group. Scofield did not agree to help other prisoners, because some of them are serial killers like T-Bag, but he had no other options.

As the story goes on Michael will face a lot of obstacles such as chopping off two of Michael's toes, replacing the escaping pipes at the last moment and many other difficulties.

Season 2:

This season begins after Michael, Lincoln and the other prisoners escaped from River Fox prison. After rescuing Lincoln, “The Company” assigned the special federal agent, Alexander Mahone, to capture the eight escapees. Furthermore, they became wanted criminals and all the authorities across the country are looking for them.

The brothers decided to look for the treasure which was buried by one of the prisoners. Coincidentally, the escapers met at the treasure location which was under one of the citizens’ garages. The prisoners pretended to be workers from Electricity Company and they told the citizen that they are going to fix a problem under the garage. While they are digging to look for the treasure T-Bag was talking and manipulating to the citizen to buy some time for the prisoners. Once they found the money, T-Bag placed the money inside a bag and ran away. After that the escapees separated from each in searching for T- Bag.

Sara discovered that her father was murdered by The Company and she has no place to go. Therefore, she turned herself in to the legal authorities in order to save Micheal and his brother. Surprisingly, Killerman whose one of the company’s agents gave a testimony to exonerate Lincoln and Sara. In fact, he was able to free both of them from the fallacious accusations since he had some solid evidences. At the end, the company tried to kill Micheal, but Sara defended him and killed that agent. Hence, Micheal decided to turn himself to the Panamanian Police in order to save Sara.

Season 3

This season has completely different plot than the previous season. In this season Micheal, Mahone, T-Bag and Bellick will each other again in the “Penitenciaría Federal de Sona” prison. After few days, it will be clear for Micheal that everything was set up for him by “The Company” in order to rescue a former agent, James Whistler. In turn they will give back Sera and L.J, because they are now in custody.

His brother Lincoln and Sucre will try their best to aid him from the outside and keep in track with company. Lincoln tried once to save Sara and L.J but he failed, so the company decided to kill Sara for his irresponsible action.

Ultimately, Michael teamed up with the prison leader along with other prisoners such as T-Bag and Mahone to escape the prison. However, Micheal betrayed some of them where only Whistler and Mahone escaped with him. On the other side of the prison, Sucre was suspected to be involved with some troubles, so he was forced to enter the prison.

Season 4:
The fourth season starts when Micheal decided to break down the company to avenge Sara’s death, before knowing the truth that she is still alive. Michael also knew about Whistler’s plan to break down the company, but unfortunately Whistler was shot to death in the beginning of the season. Sona Prison burned down, so Sucre and the others were able to escape during the chaos.

Don Self, homeland security agent decided to form a team called “A-Team”, where the members are Michael, Lincoln, Mahone, Sucre, Bellick and Roland Glenn, a hacker whose an IT professional in programming and hacking. He made a deal with Michael’s group and told them to retrieve the most important item in the company which is “Scylla”, the company’s black book, in order to destroy “The Company”. He promised Michael and the others to give them their freedom if they managed to accomplish that task. Later on, it appeared that Sara is not dead and she had escaped from the company agent Gretchen and rejoined with Micheal again.

The team objective now is to get the six cards from different card holders in order to open Scylla’s lock. Once they were able to get their hand on Scylla, Don Self betrayed them and took Scylla without returning their freedom back, because that was his intention from the beginning. After that Self forced the former Company agent, Gretchen to team up with him to find a buyer for Scylla. However, once they found the buyer, it turned out that he was working for another organization other than the company.

Prison break beginnings

A conspiracy made an innocent person involved in a murder case and judged to death sentence. A fine young man who works as an engineer caught up in a steal crime and put into the prison. Both of them will meet each other in the prison’s church where the main plot will start.

Michael Schofield committed that silly crime purposely in order to be able to enter Fox River Prison and save his older brother Lincoln Bros. A tattoo on the younger brother body is the key of escaping the prison since the blue print of the prison is drawn in Michael’s upper body and also other necessary things for the escape. Therefore, Michael , his prison mate Sucre and other prisoners will work together to escape from Fox River Prison.

Description: Michael Scofield is an amazing engineer who has strong bond with his older brother Lincoln Burrows. He is really a sharp man who always has plans, alternatives and knows how to use the available items for his plans. Even though he is vey intelligent, yet he lacks the physical strength. In the first season, Michael designed the perfect escaping plan, before entering the prison, and made the tattooist draw the blue print of the prison on his body in order to rescue his brother Lincoln.

Real name: Dominic Purcell
Date of birth: 17 February 1970
Description: Lincoln is the older brother of Michael Scofield who used to be a trouble maker and used to involve in dangerous situations. In fact, he withdrew school after the disappearance of his parents in order to afford some cash to his younger brother to continue his studies, even if takes risking his own life. Unfortunately, Burrows was accused in the murder of Terrence Steadman, the brother of the vice president of the United States, though he is innocence and have nothing to do with crime. However, the set up murder was perfect where all the evidence where against him. Hence, he was sentenced to death where the execution will be after two months from the crime.

Character Name: Fernando Sucre
Real name: Amaury Nolasco
Date of birth: December 24, 1970
Description: Sucre is the Michael’s prison mate and also his friend. He entered the prison because of a real robbery, unlike Michael. Fernando is in love with a girl called Maricruz, so they planned to get marry as soon as Sucre is released from the jail. However, their dream did not last long since another man interfered with their relationship and asked for the girl hand. Therefore, Sucre will work with Michael to escape the prison and marry his sweetheart before that man.

Character Name: Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell
Real name: Robert Knepper
Date of birth: July 8, 1959
Description: T-Bag is imprisoned due to committing six crimes such as kidnapping, rape, and murder. In fact, this guy is a deceptive person who should never be trusted because he always seeks his safety and personal ambitions. He saw through Michael’s plan and decided to escape with them; otherwise he will reveal their secret.

Character Name: Brad Bellick
Real name: Wade Andrew Williams
Date of birth: December 24, 1961
Description: Brad Bellick is a mean cop who works in Fox River Prison. He makes use of his position as an officer to get some bribery from the prisoners. In turn, the prisoners will receive special treatment from him. Bellick thinks that Michael is up to something, so he will always keep a close eye on him and will assign a person to spy on him.

Character Name: Sara Tancredi
Real name: Sarah Wayne Callies
Date of birth: June 1, 1977
Description: Sara is a doctor working in Fox River Prison and the only daughter of the Illinois governor. She used to be drugs addict before starting here medical career, but when she met with Brad Bellick, he changed her life dramatically and offered here to become a doctor in the prison. Eventually, the relationship between Michael and Sara will grow gradually. At the end, she will play a vital role in Michael’s plan.

Description: He is an F.B.I special agent who ordered to catch Fox River escapers. He is as clever as Michael, but he is much better combat skills. In reality, Alex is an addict who uses drugs to forget the sins he committed in the past. He has a son and a wife, but he does not live with them because he is afraid to involve them in his dangerous mission.

Character Name: Donald Self
Real name: Michael David Rapaport
Date of birth: March 20, 1970
Description: Self is an agent works in the homeland security. He claimed that his objective is to break down the company once and for all. He decided to form a group called “A-Team”, where the members are Michael, Lincoln, Mahone, Sucre, Bellick, Sera and Roland Glenn. Their main objective is to retrieve Scylla’s keys from six card holders, who work under the company’s boss, in order to obtain Scylla which is if obtained, the company will fall. Therefore, Donald whom known with his deception, will aid the team officially to accomplish their mission and in turn they will gain their freedom.
